Windows 7 Repair Facility

Downloaded and was about install Windows 7 and noticed that it had some handy utilities one of which being a repair for windows installations. I have a machine that gets half way through the boot process (XP) and then reboots. So I ran Windows 7 repair on the machine and got the following message after about an hour and a half.

The second message reads, "If the repairs were successful, Windows will start correctly". Now that's optimism.
